Sona

Two objects I keep on the same desk, doing nothing for each other: a keyboard I type on all day and an instrument I pick up maybe twice a week. Sona is the question of what happens if they stop being two objects.

The playable surface is separate from the keys, built into the body, powered and in tune all the time. It never has to be picked up.

Four colorways so far and no circuit. It is a shape I am still arguing with.

How to use it

Nothing to install. Sona is a concept: four colourways and no circuit.

If it becomes a real board the plate files and firmware go in a public repo. Today the honest answer is that you can look at it.
